Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Omg I love this place! Gorgeous, clean, and great service! My food was amazing, I wish that I was there eating more food now! Our waitress took great care of us and our food was delivered promptly. The food as stated tasted wonderful. Seating was plentiful."
"I was excited to try this place because of its lovely aesthetic, but I was a bit disappointed with the experience. The serving size was smaller than I expected for the price, and the coffee was a bit bland—it didn’t really taste like coffee and lacked the caffeine kick I was hoping for. Considering it’s only 99 pesos, it’s understandable, but I was expecting a little more. I’m hopeful that with some improvements, my next visit will be much better."
"Food tastes better compated to Mooon Cafe Escaño, but ambiance from mooon cafe escaño is much better. Waiting qeue depend on the day, if it falls on a weekend, then its long."
"The restaurant is consistently good. The food is amazing. The staff is very friendly and nice very clean and the assistant manager Dan does a very excellent job. I’m very impressed with the way that he works. I recommend this place to everybody. I’m having the tenderloin steak medium, rare with the potato wedge and mushroom gravy. Very delicious"
"I make sure to visit any of their Dumaguete branches when we’re home for a visit. Robinson’s branch always has a long line but we’re often lucky that the waiting time is always short. Never had disappointments with how the food tastes but there is always something we want that is unfortunately unavailable. Service crew is always topnotch!!!"
"My wife and I made a Trip to Robinson for shopping and while we were there we decided to stop in and eat at the mooncafe restaurant when we sat down we were immediately greeted by this kind young man he was very quick at getting our food and drinks served us very well i don't know his name this guy was amazing even in the united states i don't get treated like that from waiters I was not impressed with the manager at all he seemed very rude and disrespectful to the staff I seriously think just from what I saw the gentleman who served my wife and i has the potential to be a great Manager with the ability to boost the business just by his kindness alone The manager who is currently there is just a bitter mean person I cannot believe any owner would allow a manager to act like this towards anyone if I go back it will only to be served by the gentleman that showed the desire to embody what customer service is all about."
"Location and ambiance of the cafe is great, for patrons who don't like to eat at fast food chains at the mall, since their menu have a lot to choose from that will satisfy your cravings. It was located at the 2nd Floor Building of Robinson's Place."
"A very lively restaurant, vast but somehow noisy especially for loud music and rythm. The food is good and generous. It's also well presented and tasty. It's served fast even if done just on your order. Don't go there during the rush hours, you will queue for several minutes. Anyway, it's worth eating there"
